How FindSource works
Upload an image, we search the web, and you get source pages in seconds.
What happens when you upload
You can upload a file, paste from clipboard, or provide a direct image URL. FindSource then searches indexed web pages for matching appearances.
Most searches finish in about 10 seconds.
What images work best
Clear, higher-resolution images typically perform best. Cropped snippets and very generic visuals often return fewer useful matches.
Works great
- Photos already published online
- Screenshots and product images
- Logos, artwork, and memes
- Reference images used in blogs or news
May return fewer results
- Very generic stock photos
- Extremely low-resolution crops
- Images never published online
- Private or paywalled-only content
Tip: use the clearest version available for the strongest matches.
Why access uses one-time passes
Comprehensive web image search has real infrastructure cost. We use one-time passes instead of subscriptions.
That keeps pricing simple and avoids recurring charges for occasional users.
How privacy is handled
Uploaded images are processed temporarily and removed shortly after processing.
Result lists are kept briefly so you can return, then removed automatically.
No account is required for searching.
